CHS takes second at Woodward

WOODWARD – The Clinton girls’ golf team played in its fourth tournament in 12 days Friday at Boiling Springs Golf Course and exited with a runner-up team trophy and two individual placings.

As much as Clinton boys’ head basketball coach Chad Pugh is proud of his team’s accomplishments over his five years, he’s more so proud of the culture he created in the program and that he calls the once-rivaled city his home now.

Clinton girls finish fourth overall at home

Nice weather at the start of the Clinton girls’ golf team’s home tournament Wednesday proved to be short-lived as a cold wind, and later, rain kept the poor weather streak going for the season, in a fourth-place team finish for the Lady Reds.

CHS completes I-40 domination
