By 2026, the Mother Road that spans from Chicago to Santa Monica will be 100 years old. Route 66 Associations all over the world are preparing for the centennial celebration of the storied highway, and in Clinton, it’s no different.

The City of Clinton’s communications systems will soon be getting an upgrade after a July 7 storm blew through town crumbling the City’s communications tower located at City Hall. With temporary towers in place, the City has come up with a new plan featuring an antenna farm which will further the City’s communications abilities with a smaller price tag.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Some demonstrators defiantly carried holstered handguns on their hips in a Tuesday rally by gun-rights advocates, protesting Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's surprise order last week to suspend the right to carry firearms to address what she called an epidemic of gun violence.
