NEW YORK (AP) — TV's late-night hosts planned to return to their evening sketches and monologues by next week, reinstating the flow of topical humor silenced for five months by the newly ended Hollywood's writers strike.

As time ticks closer to the opening date of the Clinton Regional Hospital, the Clinton Hospital Authority continues to work through a laundry list of items that need to be accomplished before Oct. 30, and item one of Wednesday’s agenda for the authority was appointing a new hospital chief executive officer.
Dennis James Cokeley, 46, of Clinton, has been charged with fourthdegree arson after an investigation into a suspicious house fire that took place Aug. 15.
