Weatherford’s Kristen Kelley Poisson, who unsuccessfully ran for Dist. 57 of the State House of Representatives, has filed a formal complaint against a Custer County Election Board precinct supervisor.

Custer County Commissioners received updates on routine projects across the county at their weekly meeting Monday. Various blanket purchase orders and work applications were also approved at the meeting.

Red Collar plant being purchased

Red Collar Pet Foods’ manufacturing plant in south Clinton is part of a $700 million plan by Colgate-Palmolive Company to purchase three dry pet food manufacturing plants in the United States from Red Collar. The other two plants are located in South Carolina and Ohio.
