CPS faces effects of national teacher shortage

Like many other schools across the state and country, Clinton Public Schools has faced difficulty filling needed teaching positions for the upcoming school year. While the district has all needed positions and classes covered for the upcoming school year, recruiting new teachers is becoming more and more of a challenge.

West Ok Co-op welcomes Gallery America

Clinton’s West Ok Co-op welcomed OETA’s Gallery America Monday to feature the studio on the show’s September television episode. The episode will feature a local art ist known as Swab and other art stops throughout western Oklahoma along what’s being called an “art road trip.”

Out of the Corner" is the title of Jennifer “ Grey's recent memoir. It's a play on the famous line from Patrick Swayze's character in "Dirty Dancing," the movie they are both known best for. Grey's character is nicknamed "Baby," and Swayze's character tells her family, "No one puts Baby in a corner" – after they had done just that.
