Reps attend luncheon

According to the Clinton Police Department evening shift reports, on July 3, officers responded to a robbery report in the 1900 block of Boulevard of Champions.

Volunteers will gather at First Baptist Church at 6 p.m. July 17 to stuff 500 backpacks with school supplies for local students, announced Bowman Vowell, president of the Clinton Ministerial Alliance.

Monday morning the Custer County Commissioners received a presentation from OD Security North America regarding the potential implementation of a full-body scanner at the Custer County Jail.

Water tower roof removed

As part of the water tower’s reconstruction, a crane removes a section of roof from the water tower at 18th Street and Broadway Avenue.
