An arrest has been made in the armed robbery investigation of the Quick Shop convenience store located on the corner at 600 S. 10th St. and Modelle Avenue According to Det. Paul Sperle of the Clinton Police Department, Jason Lemuel Jackson, 41, of Clinton, has been arrested and is allegedly facing charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon. The initial call reporting the robbery at the Quick Shop was received by CPD at 6:03 a.m. April 7. Sperle conducted follow-ups in the surrounding area and found three businesses had captured surveillance footage of the road.
