WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court seemed ready Monday to side with a onetime top aide to ex-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and others convicted of corruption related to an upstate economic development project dubbed the Buffalo Billion.

Bell ringing fundraiser underway

With the Mission House’s largest fundraiser kicking off this past Friday, the community of Clinton will see the return of red buckets in front and inside of various businesses and friendly bell ringers wishing a happy holiday to those walking by.

WOCS receives award

The Custer County Board of Commissioners will now serve as a pass through organization for Health District 1 grants pertaining to Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps (OKMRC) after Sandy Settle with the Custer County Health Department spoke during the commissioners’ regular meeting yesterday.

The Clinton Economic Development Authority is currently working to review proposals for the renovation and redevelopment of the Glancy Motel and Pop Hicks property. Based on the group’s findings, each proposal will be given a “best of 100” evaluation.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The white gunman who massacred 10 Black shoppers and workers at a Buffalo supermarket pleaded guilty Monday to murder and hate-motivated terrorism charges, guaranteeing he will spend the rest of his life in prison.
