(AP) —As more nurses leave their jobs in hospitals and health-care centers, foundations are pouring millions of dollars into efforts to ensure that more stay in the profession and get more out of the job than just the applause and pats on the back they got during the bleakest days of the pandemic.

Airport sees last of storm repairs end

Over a year after 2021’s October tornado damaged hangars at the Clinton Regional Airport, Airport Manger Tracy Yoder says with the help of the City, repair work has finished up and the airport is beginning to shift its focus to other big projects across the airport.

The Custer County Board of Commissioners discussed bids for two used trucks and the printing of election ballots along with various updates to projects going on across the county at its weekly meeting yesterday.

As of press time Monday, all three incumbent Clinton and Arapaho-Butler Board of Education members have filed for reelection of their perspective Board of Education seats at the Custer County Election Board.
