The Clinton Hospital Authority discussed the ongoing struggle to secure the proper licensing to operate the Clinton Hospital come Jan. 1 at a special meeting Tuesday. Hospital employees were also present at the meeting to share their concerns as the transition between hospital managers moves forward.

Ignacio Rios, 27, of Clinton, is wanted on a charge of feloniously pointing a firearm after a Dec. 5 incident at N. Eighth Street and Prairie Chief Avenue.

The City of Clinton has seen an increase in vandalism over the past few weeks with a notable incident occurring Saturday night behind Joe Baker Park located at the intersection of Modelle Avenue and Glenn Smith Road on a property owned by Kirk and Brenda Meacham.
