The Clinton Economic Development Authority will be purchasing the Tradewinds, located in the 2000 block of Gary Boulevard, for $550,000 after the Clinton City Council approved funding for the purchase at a special meeting Tuesday. The authority will begin working on plans to demolish the structure and market it for future economic development opportunities along with an interlocal agreement with Clinton Public Schools.
The Custer County Board of Commissioners discussed possible changes to board appointments at its weekly meeting Wednesday. Also discussed was an election for the three Fair Board seats that are up for reelection.
