WASHINGTON (AP) — Millions of people who enrolled in Medicaid during the COVID-19 pandemic could start to lose their coverage April 1 if Congress passes the $1.7 trillion spending package leaders unveiled.

With questions still circling surrounding the fate of Clinton Regional Hospital, City leaders are working closely with Carrus Health and hospital employees to think through all possible contingencies once the City’s contract with AllianceHealth ends Dec.
