Police: Idaho slaying suspect's DNA found at crime scene

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The DNA of the man accused of killing four University of Idaho students was found on a knife sheath recovered at the crime scene, and cellphone data shows that he was in the area of the victims' home multiple times in the months before the November attack, an investigator said in court documents unsealed Thursday.

Sworn into office

Three Custer County officers were sworn in Tuesday to begin four-year terms. City finalizes Tradewinds purchase

As of last Friday, the Tradewinds Motel, located in the 2000 block of Gary Boulevard, came under ownership of the Clinton Economic Development Authority. Funding for the $550,000 purchase of the property was approved at a special City Council meeting last week and the sale was completed Friday, Dec. 30.
