DALLAS (AP) — The CEO of American Airlines says he is ready to give pilots raises and higher retirement contributions that would average 40% over four years to match a contract recently approved by pilots at Delta Air Lines.

Jaggers excited to serve as First Baptist Church preacher

Clinton’s First Baptist Church has welcomed its new pastor, Kent Jaggers, after more than a year of searching for the right candidate for the position. Jaggers says he is excited to be in the community and to follow God’s will in his life.

Making repairs

Repairing a phone line pole near the Southwest Playhouse, located at 6th and Nowahy, from left, are Clayton Pennies, Mitchell Gardner and Esteban Estrada. 

Clinton’s Mini Golf Course, located within McLain Rogers Park, will open once again for the public. Its first day of operation for this season is today and the course will stay open until August.

The Clinton Masonic Lodge No. 21 will be hosting a fellowship meal from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church located at 100 East Locust Ave. in Clinton.
