Clinton’s Special Olympics team will soon be competing in the Route 66 bocce ball competition on the road to attend State Special Olympics in May after a successful bowling competition this past fall.
The Clinton Economic Development Authority opened bids for demolition of the former Tradewinds Motel during its regular meeting Tuesday afternoon. With bids received, the authority believes demolition will move quickly at the property after the lowest bid is officially accepted by the Clinton City Council next week.
