A large crowd gathered at the Clinton Cemetery Monday evening to reflect on the history of individuals who have passed as well as the history of the town through the Clinton Cemetery Walk hosted by the Western Plains Genealogical Society. The stories of Richard Waddle, Buffington and Reba Burtis, W.F. (Granny) Millspaugh, and Leon Weitner were shared.

Shasta Nichol Thomsen, 33, of Clinton, is wanted on charges of exploiting an elderly or disabled person and embezzlement after Clinton police became aware of a situation with a vulnerable adult from an agent with Adult Protective Services.

DALLAS (AP) — Southwest Airlines planes were briefly grounded nationwide Tuesday for what the airline called an intermittent technology issue, leading to more than 1,800 delayed flights just four months after the carrier suffered a much bigger meltdown over the Christmas travel rush.
