There may be hope yet for Clinton Regional Hospital after a report by Health Facility Consultant Mike Thomas of Northeast Oklahoma Management Services revealed his belief that the hospital’s first reported issues may not be as bad as originally believed. Thomas addressed the Clinton Regional Hospital Governing Board during a regular meeting Thursday afternoon in which he detailed what he believes the next steps are for the reopening of the hospital.

Lankford visits Air and Spaceport

Ongoing work to develop the Oklahoma Air and Spaceport in Burns Flat was the main topic of discussion Thursday morning when U.S. Sen. James Lankford visited the complex’s headquarters. The senator spent the morning learning of opportunities available at the site as well as answering questions from local constituents in attendance.
