School supplies listed for CPS

The 2023-2024 school year is quickly approaching with Clinton Public School returning to operation Aug. 10. CPS has produced its supply lists for elementary students for the school year.

As the clock continues to tick after the closing of Clinton Regional Hospital, a new court ruling in the Clinton HMA (Alliance-Health) versus the Clinton Hospital Authority case has ruled in favor of the authority and the City of Clinton in multiple counterclaims filed against CHS allowing the City to file its claims against AllianceHealth and its controlling entities.

The fate of the Glancy Motel is officially sealed after the Clinton Economic Development Authority accepted a bid from Midwest Wrecking to demolish the remaining structures on the property to make way for a new Oklahoma Highway Patrol headquarters to be built.
