The Clinton City Council approved two grant proposals seeking assistance from the hotel/motel tax fund overseen by the Clinton Chamber of Commerce.

House Speaker Pro Tempore Anthony Moore, R-Clinton, on Wednesday passed a bill in committee that would extend the age for a person wishing to complete their high school education.
