No injuries in two car wreck

A two-car, non-injury wreck took place at 913 Gary Blvd. around 3:15 p.m. Friday. Clinton firefighters, pictured are, from left, Randy Jones, Joe Williams, Calvin Baggett, Capt. Blake Shaddon and Chief Brett Russell responded to the scene.

Senator James Lankford (R-OK) recently joined Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) to introduce a bill to provide relief to America’s energy industry during the coronavirus pandemic. The SAVE Jobs Act aims to promote liquidity and flexibility for domestic energy companies so they can maintain their workforce through the pandemic’s economic downturn. Lankford and Cornyn were joined by Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK).

The Clinton Police Department reported that an older gentleman received a call asking for thousands of dollars, because his grandson was reportedly arrested. He had not been. CPD is asking for folks to be careful and follow up before sending any money.
