Clinton Economic Development Authority Director Roland Mower was quoted in this past weekend’s Clinton Daily News as saying the closing of the Glancy Motel and Pop Hicks Restaurant properties was “imminent” and it turns out those words rang true.

Clinton’s Board of Education members extended the contract of Superintendent Tyler Bridges until June 2025 with a 6.5% increase to his base salary during Monday’s regular meeting.
