Clinton City Council members elected Ernie Dowdell as vice mayor during Tuesday’s regular meeting. Patch McComas made the nomination, and all members voted yes except Dowdell.

When did it snow?

Filing for the Clinton and Arapaho-Butler Board of Education No. 2 seats at the Custer County Election Board Office ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

This Saturday the American Red Cross and members of the Clinton Fire Department will install free smoke alarms and provide residents with home fire safety information during a Sound the Alarm event.
