WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is ordering the release of 1 million barrels of oil per day from the nation’s strategic petroleum reserve for six months, the White House said Thursday, in a bid to control energy prices that have spiked as the U.S. and its allies imposed steep sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.

New studies coming to study psychobiome

Dear Doctors: I've been seeing in the news that if you're depressed, it probably has something to do with your gut. Is it possible that all mental illness comes from a bad gut? Does that mean it would be possible to find a cure?

Regular customer is a creep but tips well

DEAR HARRIETTE: One of my regulars at work is a little creepy, but he tips me well. He comes in every Wednesday and requests me as his server every single time. He refuses to have any other server in the restaurant. He has told the other waitstaff that the reason that he always requests me is because he has a crush on me. This man is an older gentleman, and he is usually respectful enough, but he won't stop asking me personal questions and making flirty remarks while I am simply trying to do my job. The only reason I keep accepting him as a regular is because he tips well, and I need the money. Should I continue to serve this man? – Need the Cash

Clinton seventh grader Evan Hunter (standing at the microphone) competed Tuesday in the Thunder Regional Spelling Bee held at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Hunter advanced to this level by winning the school, district and county levels. He was one of 25 top spellers in a 50-county region and advanced to the fifth round of competition. The word “intellectual” proved to be the one to eliminate him. Hunter was the only contestant hailing from western Oklahoma in the competition. CDN
