Bridges’ contract extended

The Clinton Board of Education voted this week to extend Superintendent Tyler Bridges’ contract for an additional year.

State Sens. Brent Howard and Darcy Jech invite citizens across western Oklahoma to participate in Oklahoma’s redistricting process by attending the Senate-sponsored town hall meeting in Clinton on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Evan Hunter won the Washington Elementary Spelling Bee last week. He won the championship by correctly spelling “eddy.” An eddy is a circular movement of water, counter to a main current, causing a small whirlpool.
