Clinton Public Schools will be opening a gifted and talented referral window beginning Nov. 28 that will last through Dec. 7 to allow parents, guardians or any other stakeholder in a student’s life the opportunity to refer their student to the program. Students who excel in creative thinking abilities, leadership abilities, visual and performing arts, or academic abilities may be referred for testing.

The Clinton Economic Development Authority received two proposals for the Glancy Motel and Pop Hicks properties at its regular meeting Tuesday. The authority moved to recommend the City Council not accept bids for demolition in light of the received proposals.
