Whiteshield assumes library leadership role

Since longtime Library Manager Beverly Thomason announced her retirement in November of last year, WPLS (Western Plains Library System) has been on the lookout for a new librarian to manage its Clinton facility. The search has ended however, because as of Tuesday, WPLS has hired Weatherford local Sara Whiteshield as its new Clinton Library manager. “I’m just really, really excited,” she said. “This is a really big opportunity and I’m just grateful that they thought of me for this position.”
