CARNEY, Okla. (AP) — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake was among a series of six tremors that struck central Oklahoma on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Nearly $3 million of the $11.6 million in available hospital trust funds has already been spent, leaving only $8.8 million in the fund to finance the reopening of the hospital, something initial estimates say will cost over $6 million for just the first phase of reopening.
Last weekend the Corn Bible Academy’s German Feast and Auction proved to be a successful fundraiser with the school nearly reaching its goal of raising $160,000 through the meal and auction.
