A trip to area always means a significant step up in the competition level, and the Clinton basketball program is getting that treatment to the full extent in its openers at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. today, at Enid High School.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Clinton wrestling put up a competitive effort and fell just short of putting a few Reds on the podium Friday at the state tourney, however the group gained experience, along with CHS head coach Rob Pitman being named 4A coach of the year by the Central Oklahoma Wrestling Official’s Association.
Clinton wrestling’s five state qualifiers get on the mat today at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Arena, for their shot at a placing medal.
