A week after the Clinton football team’s opening scrimmage against El Reno and Lawton Eisenhower was marred due to a fight, the Reds return to the playing field at 6 p.m. tonight against Anadarko.
It’s been an ultraclean defensive start to the season for the Class A, No. 17 Arapaho-Butler baseball team (4-3 overall) so far.
A Clinton High School assistant football coach is on administrative leave and several CHS football players are allegedly being punished for their role in a large fight during a scrimmage with El Reno Friday night in Lawton. Lawton Eisenhower High School was also taking part in the scrimmage but was not involved in the skirmish.
