At Wednesday’s Clinton Hospital Authority Board of Trustee meeting, Clinton Regional CEO Len Lacefield revealed to the board he plans to seek another line of credit from the City of Clinton at the Tuesday’s city council meeting.
The swimming pool touted on the Midtown Travel Inn sign is in the process of being dug up by this excavator Wednesday afternoon. To the right is some of the rubble from the hotel torn down this week. This is the fourth derelict hotel demolished in Clinton.
At the previous Clinton City Council meeting, the council heard a proposal regarding plans for a Pancake Fly-In. The event, which was approved by the council, will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 26 at the Clinton Regional Airport at 10200 N. Airport Rd.
Volunteers who have already signed up, as well as anyone else wanting to help revitalize the M.T. & Helen Gholston Children’s Park, are invited to meet at the park at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, to see what has been done so far and what the plans are for the upcoming workdays.
