It’s rodeo weekend in Clinton

Clinton Round-Up Club (CRC) Rodeo Queen, Princess and Pee-Wee Princess candidates will compete in front of judges at a contest to be held at 6 p.m. tonight at Nance Rotary Park.

The Custer County Health Department (CCHD) will hold a free COVID-19 testing event from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Custer County Fairgrounds Activity Center, said Regional Director Terri Salisbury. Anyone 6 years old and up can receive a test, regardless of whether or not they are showing symptoms of the virus.

The Clinton Police Department wants to make sure the public is prepared for continued triple-digit heat heading into the weekend – especially during the annual Clinton Rodeo.
