The state’s annual sales tax holiday, which always comes just in time for back-to-school shopping, will begin this year on Friday, Aug. 7 and will end at midnight on Sunday, Aug. 9. All qualified items will be exempt from state, city, county and local municipality sales tax, and all retailers are required to participate.
