The Clinton Public School District bond issue passed Tuesday with a 76.5% yes rate. The issue needed a super majority of 60% to pass. Nearly 1,000 people visited the polls that day with 760 voters in favor of the bond issue and 234 against it.
A resolution was approved at Tuesday night’s Clinton City Council meeting allowing the City to claim approximately $1.6 million in ARPA funds as loss revenue during COVID-19. The resolution allows the money to be used for general government services.
Sales tax incentive applications for Lily and Rose, White Buffalo Coffee Bar and Great Plains LLC and a resolution to update the economic growth incentive program were approved by Clinton Economic Development Authority trustees Tuesday during their regular meeting.
