Last weekend Custer City hosted its all-school reunion. Here with the Custer City Panther is Florence O’Hara, 96, the oldest graduate. She graduated from Custer in 1943. This was her 79th school reunion anniversary. CDN
A 27-year-old Clinton man is facing felony charges of threatening to perform an act of violence after his neighbors “told on him” to his parents, as he had allegedly tried to sell them drugs the week prior to the incident.
In a lengthy meeting this week, Custer County commissioners heard from Assistant District Attorney Ricky McPhearson concerning contracts with the architect and construction manager for the bathroom remodeling project at the courthouse.
Clinton’s Southwest Playhouse is once again putting on an excellent production in Murder on the Orient Express. The play, adapted by Ken Ludwig from Agatha Christie’s famous novel of the same name, is a must see for mystery and theatre fans alike. It opens June 3.
