Currently, officials say the proposed plan for construction on Red Wheat Drive is to construct the temporary detour, also referred to as a shoofly, during the first week of December, after which it is expected to take 30 to 45 days to complete the utility relocation of the sewer line. During that time, the road will be closed, but Red Wheat will still be accessible through the temporary detour so that construction can be completed.
