As the weather warms up, the Custer County Sheriff’s Office has seen an increase in trash dumping incidents across the county, something Sherriff Dan Day says is not only an eyesore to county residents and visitors alike but also a safety hazard to humans and animals.

Graves, Sawatzky are honored

Clinton High School seniors Nathaniel Graves and Mindy Sawatzky have been selected as the CHS Red Tornado Boy and Girl for the month of April.

As rural hospitals continue to struggle across the country, including Clinton’s own battle to reopen its closed hospital, good news has come to the City of Woodward after INTEGRIS Health entered into an agreement to be the next health care operator of the Woodward hospital.

Responded to a report of found property near State Highway 33 and N. 2330 Rd. in Custer City.

The Washita Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted its 80th anniversary celebration April 22 at the Frisco Center. Guests representing several Oklahoma DAR chapters attended the event.
