Clinton’s FirstCare Rehabilitation is under new ownership after Physical Therapy Central (PTC), an Oklahoma-based private physical therapy practice group, acquired the company earlier this month. While the company will soon be under a new name, representatives say they will continue to bring the same care to Clinton with the same well-known staff.

The Clinton Economic Development Authority will soon begin seeking new development opportunities for the former Tradewinds Motel property nearly a year after the authority purchased the property to prepare it for development. During a regular meeting of the authority Tuesday, trustees discussed declaring the property surplus but instead chose to acknowledge their intent to market the property.

Looking for a fun and safe place to take little goblins, ghouls and ghosts on Halloween? Look no further than this year’s Trunk-or-Treat, a Clinton Chamber of Commerce event hosted downtown on Frisco Avenue.
