The No. 19 A-B baseball team (9-8 overall) will travel to No. 14 Fletcher (12-7) for its three-team district that also includes Calumet (7-7).

Burns Flat-Dill City football (1-0 overall) opened the season and its return to 11- man football with a 12-6 win Friday night at Carnegie, while the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders fell to 0-2 on the year with a 30-0 loss at Kremlin- Hillsdale (1-1).

Lady Reds run rule MSM

The Lady Reds defeated MSM Tuesday, 19-0, in four innings, improving to 13-9 overall and 2-5 in district as of press time Thursday. The Lady Reds are just one win away from tying last year’s total and have six regular season games left and one tournament remaining.

Volleyball beats Snyder in four

The Clinton volleyball team (5-5 overall as of press time Thursday) found its way back in the win column Tuesday night, defeating Snyder in four sets, at the Tornado Dome.
