Reds fall in I-40 Classic opener

The box score in a 7-0 loss really didn’t tell the whole, competitive story of the Clinton baseball team’s efforts against District 4A-1 leader Kingfisher Thursday in the I-40 Classic opener.

Clinton track’s underclassman trio composed of, freshman Montiel Crane, freshman Kat Meacham and sophomore Lola Hester, keeps accumulating medals and did so once again at Cache Thursday.

Chris “Booger” Brown from Alabama visited the Clinton Round-Up Club at the Rodeo Grounds to host a horsemanship clinic last Saturday and Sunday. Lady Reds finish top five in opener

WEATHERFORD – Three freshmen Lady Reds made their varsity golf debuts Wednesday, after Monday’s opener at Lawton Mac was cancelled due to rain, while senior Loren Coleman got her final season underway with a strong effort, in a fifth-place team finish at the Weatherford Tournament.

Clinton logs 16 strikeouts in win

A majority of the outs recorded by the Clinton baseball team (2-3 overall, 2-1 in district), came from the mound in a 7-2 district win over Bishop McGuinness (3-7, 2-3) Tuesday night at home.

Clinton getting healthier for tourney

A 15-day gap between the Clinton soccer program’s March 12 game against Lawton MacArthur and the first game of the Clinton Soccer Classic scheduled for Friday March 26 allowed both rosters time to heal up from injuries.
