Cisneros growing game amidst college, sport change

It’s never easy transferring from one college to the next but adding in a transition to a different sport only adds to the difficulty, but 2019 Clinton grad Valek Cisneros took the challenge head on this year, returning to baseball at Eastern Oklahoma State College.

Preps make major strides in summer

Time is all the Clinton Preps baseball team needed to get to a higher level, closing out the eighth graders/upcoming freshmen’s middle school careers with a summer record of 16-4.

Community steps up for Gaunt

In each of the past two weekends, Clinton and the surrounding areas showed how much CHS head baseball coach Kelly Gaunt means to them, donating time and money at recent fundraising tournaments.

A little over two weeks into summer workouts, and the Clinton High School football team is seeing almost 100-percent participation, according to head coach John Higbee.
