OK Kids State Tournament opens play Wednesday in Clinton
Once again, the town of Clinton will be playing host to another little league tournament.

As the clouds departed and the sun finally started shining, the OK Kids 8U Softball State Tournament at Clinton’s Schumacher Fields in Acme Park was finally able to continue after rain knocked the tournament out of commission Thursday evening and all of Friday.
Due to the inclement weather that passed through the area Thursday evening and Friday morning, the remaining six games of the OK Kids 8U State Softball Tournament from the opening round had to be pushed back to Saturday.
To land on the biggest stage in a sport is a great honor and achievement.
What a young athlete experiences during their time on a team can stick with them for the rest of their lives.
