GUTHRIE – Strong wind gusts welcomed a new batch of Clinton starting golfers Wednesday in Guthrie’s Tournament at Cimarron National Golf Club.

CHS bags big wins over Southeast

Tuesday night’s home opener for the Clinton soccer program ended with two prominent victories, as the Clinton girls (1-2 overall) picked up their first win of the season, 10-0, and the CHS boys (3-0) maintained an undefeated start and got some revenge on Southeast, 2-1.

Tennis gets reps at Westwood Tourney

NORMAN – Tourney No. 1 of the Clinton tennis season was more about shaking the rust off against Class 5A and 6A competition Tuesday at the Westwood Tournament in Norman.

Reds’ year ends in area tourney

ENID – True to form, the Clinton boys’ basketball team (15-7 overall) rose above adversity from early on in the area consolation semis Friday, against No. 12 John Marshall (16- 7), but it just wasn’t enough, falling 67-58, to end the season.

The Clinton soccer program played its second games at Bethany Friday. The CHS girls (0-2 overall) fell, 3-1, to the Lady Bronchos. The Reds (2-0) picked up their second win of the season, 2-1.

Maley provides veteran presence to CHS

Injuries didn’t allow Ethan Maley to finish out his final two wrestling seasons on the mat, but that never stopped him from being a positive force for the Reds.
