Funeral services for Mary Etta Statser, 90-year-old, Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, were held Monday, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carson and Daniel Mosburg officiating. Burial followed in Stafford Cemetery, west of Clinton, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Dennis Wayne Shaffer, age 77, passed away on February 21, 2025. He was born in Clinton, OK, on September 26, 1947, to Lloyd and Maxine (Hale) Shaffer. He graduated from Clinton High School and went on to attend Oklahoma State University. While at OSU, he was drafted into the Army and went to Vietnam.

Theresa S. Mayes, age 76, a longtime resident of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the River Valley Nursing Facility. She was born on September 15, 1948, in Tulare, California, to Cleo and Masaline (Martin) Sutton.

Lynda Sharon (Ringo) Farmer, age 80, a longtime resident and business owner of Clinton, Oklahoma, was born on April 24, 1944, in Stockton, California, to Herschel and Dortha (Smalley) Ringo. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, with her daughter Michele by her side.

Karen Sue McGurk, my mom, was born in Elk City, Oklahoma on November 14, 1949 to John and Lillian Reinschmiedt. She passed on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Karen’s childhood was one filled with love, hard work, and a strong sense of family.
