Funeral services for Walter Keith O’Dell, 57, of Arapaho will be held Saturday, December 5th at 2 p.m. The service will be held at The Edge Church in Clinton, OK and officiated by his nephew Rev. James Weber III.

Keith died Thursday, November 19th, 2020 in the family home. He was born March 7th, 1963 in Clinton, the son of Boyd and Deloris (Gannon) O’Dell.

He received his education in Clinton and Arapaho schools. He married Edie Weber on June 16th, 1980 in Wheeler, Texas. The couple had three children and made their family home in Arapaho, OK. He was a man of many trades, working for the City of Clinton, Dotter’s Body Shop, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, and repairing automobiles at his family’s shop on Old 66.

He enjoyed family gatherings and Sunday dinners cooked by his mother, going to wrestling matches, listening to the Katt, working on cars alongside his father and uncle, playing rummy and backgammon, spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Arapaho, OK.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Boyd and Deloris O’Dell, grandparents, Lewis O’Dell, Thelma Grissett and Calvin Grissett, Walter and Lula Gannon, a niece Shyla (Carr) Brehm, and brothers in law, Doug Weber and Jimmy Weber.

Survivors include his daughters, LaToshia Andrew (Sean), Enid, OK, Stachia Taylor (Michael), Custer City, OK, his son, Jerit Keith O’Dell (Jennifer), Clinton, OK. Brother Joe O’Dell (Cristina) of Arapaho, OK, and sister, Rita Carr (Truck) of Vernon, TX, a very special Uncle, Lewis Lee O’Dell and wife Kay, and Aunts, Connie Gannon and Carolyn Hatfield. And, his lifelong friend, Mike Lawrence.

Grandchildren; Colby Sheppard, Caitlyn Hadley (David), Ethan Andrew, and Aubree Andrew all of Enid, OK. Benjamin Keith O’Dell of Weatherford, OK and Isabella O’Dell of Clinton, OK and a great grandson, Gage Dennis Sheppard.

Burial will be in the Arapaho Cemetery, alongside his beloved parents.
