Funeral services will be held for Stacy Leonard, 69, of Clinton at 10 a.m. Monday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

He died Tuesday July 2, 2019, at his home in Clinton.

Stacy Harrell Leonard was born May 19, 1950, to W.D. (Bill) and Oneta (Pierce) Leonard in Clinton. He was raised in Clinton and attended Clinton Schools, graduating in 1969.

He married Cheryl Ann Shelton.

On April 6, 1970, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam as a helicopter repairman.

He was honorably discharged from the military in December of 1971, and then returned to Clinton where he worked as a carpenter and was in construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Lillie Harrell and “Candy” Luther Harrell; his paternal grandparents, Vann and Leta Leonard; and his wife.

Survivors include his son, Chad Allen Leonard and wife Nichole; a daughter, Nicole Renee Leonard; his sister, Lynnette Zavaski and husband Andy; and two brothers, Randy Leonard and wife Linda of Weatherford, and Barry Leonard and wife Lois of Stafford.

He is also survived by three grandchildren, Chelsea Leonard, Jacob Leonard and A.J. “Angel” Leonard and of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and his nieces and nephews, Todd Leonard, Jed Leonard, Josh Leonard, Randi Sue Leonard, Vann Leonard, Krystal Zavaski and Drew Zavaski.

The service will be officiated by Dan Day and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
