Funeral Services for Sharon Kay Watson, age 71, and longtime Clinton resident, will be Monday January 18, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, with Chris Fields and Kris Ramber officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery.

Sharon was born February 2, 1949 in Thomas to Lee Gail and Melba Jean (Ballew) Watson, and passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 in Hutchison, Kansas.

Sharon was raised in Arapaho, and graduated from Arapaho High School in 1967, she lived most of her life in Clinton and Arapaho. She was a member of the Clinton First Baptist Church, and very active in the Clinton Chapter of the AARP.

Sharon enjoyed working Puzzle Books, word searches, cooking, going to the Country Jamboree, and loved going to church.

She waited tables at several Clinton restaurants, and delivered newspapers for the Clinton Daily News for almost 10 years.

She was preceded in death by both parents, 1 sister Rebecca Ann Watson, 1 brother Larry Dewayne Watson, her stepdad Stanley McDow, and her longtime companion Tom McGinnis.

She is survived by her son Michael G. Watson of the Home, a stepson Tom McGinnis Jr. of San Francisco, 3 nieces Rena Garcia and her husband Armando of Clinton, Jennifer Watson and Barbara Watson both of Oklahoma City, her Aunt Twila Ryan of Ft Worth, her uncle Bob Ballew of Denver, and one grandchild Aiyanna McGinnis.
