Funeral service for Otis Clark 85-year-old Thomas resident will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the Bethany Brethren in Christ Church with James Rainwater officiating. Burial will follow in the Mound Valley Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.

Otis was born to Cecil Edward Clark and Dorothy Amy (Grizzle) Clark on April 20, 1936 in Fay and passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Clinton.

Otis was raised in rural Fay area. He attended school at Mount Pleasant Rural School, Fay Schools, and graduated at Watonga High School in 1954. He served in the Military from 1955 to 1959, as an Army Medic in Germany. Returning home to Fay, he went to Southwestern for one semester before transfering to Okmulgee Tech.

Otis married Lynda Claussen on March 3, 1962 in Thomas. They made their home in Altus before returning to Okmulgee Tech to teach for 2 ½ years. Later moving to Bethel Acres near Shawnee and later to San Marcos, TX. They returned to Bethel Acres in 1986. In 2000, they settled in Thomas.

Otis enjoyed, fishing, coaching Pee Wee baseball and Awana’s.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda of the home; two sons, Gordon Clark and his wife, Karyn of Duxbury, MA and Gary Clark and his wife, Kelsey of Edmond, OK; two daughters, Deborah Dyck and her husband, Howard of Thomas and Diana Keys and her husband, James of Yukon, OK; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Leon.
