Funeral services for Opal Cynthia (Whiteshield) Chavez, 80, of Bessie, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Cheyenne/Arapaho Community Building east of Clinton, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

She was born July 16, 1940 in Concho. She died April 19, 2021 in her Bessie home.
