Nettie Lou Seale

Nettie Lou Seale, of Grove, Oklahoma, went to her Heavenly Home on June 10, 2026. Born on July 1, 1946, in Hobart, Oklahoma, Nettie devoted her life to caring for others, a commitment that was evident throughout her distinguished 35-year career teaching nursing.

Her dedication extended beyond the classroom, as she volunteered both at the local hospital and Delaware Baptist Church, where she was a cherished member of both communities.

Nettie’s life was a testament to service, compassion, and love. She embraced each day with a nurturing spirit, always prioritizing the well-being of those around her. She always strived to see the good in others. Her nurturing nature was not only reflected in her professional life but also in her avid participation in her church and various volunteer activities. Nettie enjoyed spending quality time with her family, traveling, living by the lake where she enjoyed crappie fishing, and being an active member in the Newcomers of Grove, as well as her community, The Village. In her younger years, she delighted in square dancing. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Floyd and Wilma Friese; her first husband and father of her children, Ken Watkins; her second husband whom she loved dearly for 31 years; Don Seale; her great-grandson, Brady Watkins; her siblings Roger Hulett, Whit Friese, and Angela Byrd; and nephews Louis Friese and Ted Hulett.

Nettie’s memory will be lovingly honored by her devoted family, including her son, Tracy Watkins, and his wife Beth; daughter, Terri Botts, and her husband Sean; stepdaughter Michelle Seale; stepson Shawn Seale; and sister Jane Ernst.

She was a proud grandmother to Walker Botts and his wife Kaydee, Talon Watkins, Slade Botts and his wife Haylee, Baylor Watkins and his wife Katrina, Kamryn Seale, and Kinzie Seale. Her legacy extends to her great-grandchildren Darby Botts, Dek’Lynn Botts, Wrenley Watkins, Daxton Botts, Deakon Botts, and Waylon Watkins.

She is also remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews Marty Byrd, Terry Van Hulett and wife Tina, Donna Warnick and husband Gary, Lori Rivera, Conley Ernst and wife Sherry, Greg Hulett, Brent Byrd and wife Shawna, Sarah Barrow, and Paul Friese and wife Athena, as well as many great and great -great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Nettie’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2026, at Delaware Baptist Church, located at 35551 S 620 Rd, Grove, Oklahoma, 74344.
