Mary Faye Delp, 86, was born on July 27, 1933, in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of William Newton and Mary Myrtle (Carpenter) Price. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 27, 2020, at the Elk City Nursing Home Rehabilitation Center in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Mary Faye met the love of her life, Junior Delp while in nursing school. They were married November 21, 1952, and to this union they were blessed with three children, Linda Kaye, Jimmie Lee, and Philip William. Junior and Mary Faye made their home in Foss, Oklahoma. Mary Faye, at a young age accepted the Lord as her Savior. Mary Faye was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Burns Flat, where she taught Sunday school for years. You would always find her Bible and Sunday school book next to her recliner. She also sang in the church choir and cleaned the church for many years. In addition to being a homemaker, Mary Faye generally worked outside of the home.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, working in her garden, crocheting afghans and farming alongside her husband.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. Rev. Tom Spence will officiate. Interment will be at Foss Cemetery, in Foss, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing her memory are her children, Linda Christian and her husband, Steve of Dill City, Oklahoma, Philip Delp and wife, Chrissy of Canute, Oklahoma, and daughter- in-law Pam Delp of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Stephanie Thurman and husband, Justin of Mannford, Oklahoma, Jimmie Lee Delp II and wife, Danelle of Lynxville, Wisconsin, Joel Delp and wife, Jordan of Dill City, Oklahoma, Ethan Delp and wife, Amber of Foss, Oklahoma, Dillon Delp and wife, Kenzie of Canute, Oklahoma; great- grandchildren, Trestin and Lindley Thurman, Darcy Delp, Tugger and Karsyn McCuistion, Adalynn and Oaklynn Delp, Easton Delp, Nash and Clyde Delp, and a host of numerous nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, WyNema Delp of Oklahoma City.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior L. Delp; one son, Jimmie Delp; her parents, Bill and Myrtle Price; seven brothers and two sisters.
